Travelers to Mexico are tempted to a stunning display of culture, hospitality, fine food and exquisite cuisine, art and history. They are welcomed to small rural villages and vibrant modern centers.

There are some "great numbers" describing the wonderful State of Mexico in Central America; the 10.000 km of coasts speak to us of splendid beaches bathed by clear water, the almost one hundred million inhabitants and its over 50 amerindis dialects are instead the mirror of a colored universe, where the cultures, the traditions and the somatic lines have been mixed by now for centuries.

What the numbers cannot tell is the atmosphere that you can breathe in Mexico, the feeling given by splendid archaeological sites that are permanent memories and a key to understand the pre-Columbian empires, annihilate by the conquers; wounded in the jungle, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, the Mayan Ruins, the Mexico Aztec temples, the Olmecs’s colossal head and the rest of other civilizations are everywhere in Mexico.

Mention all the Mexico archaeological sites would be madness, but I will tell you about the most famous ones!

Chichén Itzá, the most famous Mayan ruins of Mexico and temple city, and center of the Mayan civilization it’s considered one of the seven Wonder of the World! Located only 75 miles from Merida, Chichén Itzá has been studied extensively, much has been written about it, but this archaeological site is shrouded in mysteries and legends…

Teotihuacan, one of the most visited of Mexico’s archaeological sites and a must-see if you’re in Mexico City. Teotihuacan is impressive for its Pyramid of the Sun (the third largest pyramid in the world and its Avenue of the Dead running for 2.5 km! Be prepared for lots of walking and climbing here…

Palenque, located in the foothills of the Tumbalá mountains of Chiapas Mexico, it seems that the divinities were as charmed with Palenque as today's tourists. The landscape gives Palenque a mystical magnetism that enchants scientist and visitor alike! The most notable structures of Palenque are the Palace and the Temple of Inscriptions.

Uxmal one of the most magnificent and spectacular ruins in all of Mexico! Uxmal was one of the largest cities of the Yucatan peninsula, and it means 'thrice-built' in Mayan, referring to the construction of its highest structure, the Pyramid of the Magician. Uxmal is about 70 miles (110 km) from Mérida.

Monte Albán is just five miles to the west of Oaxaca City. The ancient center of Zapotec culture, the site of Monte Albán was the capital of the “cloud people” for over a millennium. This important civilization, the Zapotecs, had both a written and numerical system and used a calendar of 365 days. These buried worldly treasures comprise the largest Mesoamerican discovery.

Imagine years and years ago, in a distant epoch, be on a beach looking at the horizon and seeing the sails of the Spanish galleons, draw as clouds to the wind. Imagine the sensation of a Spaniard, sighting earth, covered by primordial forest, after months and months of navigation. Here you can relive these feelings!

Mexico's historical attractions from the ancient ruins of the Olmecs, Maya, and Aztec, to the train routes used by the temerarious and legendary Pancho Villa have an important relevance for the Mexico tourism. The tale of Mexico's past, appeal keen of history from the entire World!

Some years after the fall of the Aztec capital, the basic form of colonial government in Mexico was instituted by the first Spanish viceroy, Antonio de Mendoza.

The history of Mexico speaks of a country changing after the Spanish conquistadores; the unequal distribution of the wealth, and the desperation of the poorest, becomes a problem that has been going on for a while. The chronicle of the “Guerrilla” begins in 1910 with Emiliano Zapata and last ‘till 10 years ago with Commander Marcos and his revolutionaries in Chiapas.

Now México is a country that silently lives, perhaps tired to fight for the borders and against the corruption, maybe to think more to its inside problems that the history has created…

A dominant figure for its continent, Mexico is the meeting and union point among United States and the Latin America.

Have you ever wondered how the history of the entire world would be changed without Mexico?

Well, Mexico fortunately exists; it has given us so much and still excites us with its fascinating old and modern places, amazing colors, music and folklore…

Visit Mexico means discover its destinations with overwhelming joy … you will hate the last day of your vacation… A variety of landscapes as the uncontaminated and white beaches of the Riviera Maya, the active volcanoes with their tops painted by snow, historical sites in Mexico, the waves of the Pacific Ocean, the colonial cities in the centre of Mexico, and the incredible flora and fauna.. will give you the chance to discover Mexico beyond your expectations!

Actually, Mexico is a country that warmly welcomes, in its many airports, million of tourists every year. The high quality of hotels and resorts in Mexico, allow receiving and satisfying people from all over the World, and guarantee an important resource for the Mexican economy.
